Disney Vacation Club is based on a Points system. Every year, you receive an allotment of Vacation Points that are based on the size of your real estate interest. You can use these Points towards your holidays at Disney Vacation Club Resorts.

So how does it work? The premise is very simple. Your real estate interest at one of the Disney resorts gets you a specific amount of Points. The larger your interest, the more Points you get. Larger amounts of Points allow you a choice of more days' holiday or larger accommodation. Every year, you receive a new allotment of Points. And of course, it's completely up to you how you use your Points!

You can enjoy accommodation at Disney Vacation Club resorts, along with other Disney destinations. Depending on the number of Points you're allotted and how you choose to use them, you could choose from one big holiday or a number of smaller holidays. Accommodation ranges in size from Studios sleeping 4 to Villas for groups of up to 12. Needless to say, the size of your accommodation will require more or less points depending on what you need.

One of the biggest highlights of this particular ownership is in its banking and borrowing flexibility. If you want to take the family away for a truly once-in-a-lifetime adventure, for instance aboard the Disney Cruise Line, you can bank this year's Points until next year, giving you double your usual yearly amount to work with. And if you just can't wait, just borrow Points from next year!
