Villa 51, Kilconquhar Castle Estate (RCI Week 46) is our much-loved week in the 2-bedroom villa with beautiful estate views.
After many happy years of family holidays at Kilconquhar Castle Estate, we’re now regrettably having to release our cherished Week 46 to someone who will enjoy it as much as we have.
This peaceful autumn week retreat is in a cosy, spacious two-bedroom bungalow with a newly refurbished shower room, a comfortable open-plan lounge, a proper dining area, and with a fully equipped kitchen. The large patio doors look out over tranquil parkland, a view we’ve never tired of.
We’ve always loved the estate’s facilities: the heated pool, sauna, gym, tennis courts, play areas, and the friendly onsite bistro and castle restaurant. Everything is relaxed, well kept, and welcoming.
The location has been perfect for us too — morning walks around the grounds, afternoons exploring the East Neuk’s fishing villages, and the occasional trip into St Andrews for shops, restaurants or a film. And for golfers, St Andrews Old Course being just 11 miles away has been a real bonus.
Week 46 had became our yearly reset: calm weather, stunning scenery, and a slow, cosy lead-in to winter.
With a change in personal circumstances we’re offering it now at a newly reduced price, hoping it brings someone else the same enjoyment it’s brought us.
This wonderful family holiday resort can be found in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland located in the quaint little town amongst 130 acres of gorgeous highland grounds. Travel and Leisure Group believe the estate offers a wide range of leisure facilities including a heated swimming pool, saunas and gymnasium. The is also an equestrian centre that includes riding lessons and beach rides, aromatherapy treatments, kids club and sightseeing tours around East Neuk so timeshare owners should always have plenty to do.
Kilconquhar Castle at Kilqconquhar Estate and Country Club has two restaurants on offer that are also open to visitors to the estate. The White Cockade, a bistro style restaurant offers meals between 8:30am - 8:45pm offering breakfast, lunch and dinner services with a Scottish theme. The menu also has a children's menu and a continental breakfast on offer. The Lindsay room has a traditional Scottish setting and is open to diners Wednesday evening offering a three course meal. Private bookings are also available.
Timeshare accommodation at Kilqconquhar Estate and Country Club is located around the grounds of the estate ranging from castle suites, villas and historic cottages on the outskirts of the estate. Accommodation comprises of two, three and four bedrooms and have their own unique characteristics. Amenities found in the properties can vary with cottages having their own private garden and the hot tubs available in the three bedroom villas. The accommodation at the estate have a fitted kitchen as standard, minimum of two bathrooms, a lounge and dining area, two televisions, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi.
