Weve owned Diamond Resorts timeshare for several years and have massively enjoyed the high quality of their accommodation and the ease of booking holidays at the touch of a button. The resorts are really maintained and we have used several of their villas and apartments. It has given us a chance to stay in some beautiful locations around the world and in countries we may not have thought of visiting previously. All of their apartments and cottages are self-catering and the kitchens are furnished to high quality - which is so convenient if we want to have relaxing days with either takeaway or simple homemade food. There is washing and dishwasher in many of the cottages which means that it like a home away from home, especially for the longer holidays and the cottages are cleaned regularly. We have been to Florida, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe and Malaysia and Thailand in the far east. They have a points-based system, which means that we have been able to take both short and long holidays not restricted to a particular number of days. Over the years, we have taken several of our friend and family members at the same time as us or have gifted it for their use as guests and it has always been such fun. The UK resorts have been handy for weekend stays. Pine Lake Resort in Lake District (pictured below) has been the favourite of our family and has beautiful log cottages around a private lake.
