Weve had great times at Heritage resorts both in Spain and in the UK. The resorts in Spain are well located for exploring the area, their bars and restaurants on site are of a high standard and there are other bars to visit within walking distance. The facilities are great - my granddaughter learnt to swim in the pool, which is super clean. The apartments have everything you need for a fantastic stay in Andalucia. In the UK, there is a resort in the Lake District. It is in a good location near Newby Bridge and is only a 5-minute drive from a steam train to take you to Ambleside where you can get a boat across Lake Windermere to Windermere itself. The houses and apartments are well appointed and site right on a peaceful river amongst beautiful scenery. A great place to explore the Lake District.
