You can also go skiing at The Lecht, or try your hand at horse riding and quad biking, both of which can be found a short drive away. Lodge 35 is a short stroll to the facilities of the Country Club, Bar & Restaurant, membership of the Country Club which is included in the annual maintenance fee. It is a quiet & restful setting with easy access to the village of Ballater and a short drive to Balmoral Castle & Estate.
We have owned this particular week for over 15 years & also enjoy a few weeks in the same lodge in the summer months.
The week that is up for sale was an ideal pre Christmas break plus an opportunity to meet up with family members whose birthday was this time of year but unfortunately are no longer with us, hence time to now move on.
There are plenty of walks of all abilities and historical Castles & Whiskey distilleries all within easy reach from the lodge. All can still be enjoyed at this time of year.
Maintenance fee has already been paid for this year and the week commences Saturday, 7 December.
